There are times when I wonder about academia and whether or not I'll ever go back.  Don't get me wrong-- I absolutely love learning and the research process and we've all seen instances when I just go off on tagents about the dissmination of ideas and information--yet I wonder if there is a way for me to make that into ( Read more... )

i'm putting the last few touches on my grad school application packets. the nervous, jittery, holycrap-what-the-FUCK-am-i-thinking?! feeling has gone away and been replaced with an odd calm. i think the camomile tea and the conversation with aasma helped in that regard.
